 Come watch The Flying Dutchmen Team coming here from Holland to compete

against the best riders in the Northeastern United States

The Kiwanis Club of New London will be putting on a Bicycle Safety Rodeo for Kids between the ages of 5 & 10 in the parking lot adjacent to the race course (where the bmx team was last year) From 12noon until 3pm The first 150 kids to enter will receive free helmets.

The Whaling City Cyclone has become a truly international level race that will contribute to the overall awareness of cycling as an important part of local transportation, recreation and tourism for Southeastern Connecticut.
